Multi-channel integration and order automation for an Amsterdam-based online retailer

€8,700Saved per Month

The Challenge

Orders arrived through six different channels — Shopify, Amazon, bol.com, Instagram, the website and a physical POS — while stock tracking and customer notifications were handled manually. Stock inconsistencies between channels created around €2,300 a month in return costs and a rising pile of complaints.

What We Built

A central n8n orchestration layer connected every channel. The moment an order lands, stock updates across all channels instantly. A shipping integration sends the tracking link to the customer automatically over WhatsApp and email, and crossing a stock threshold triggers an automatic reorder with the supplier.

The Result

The return rate fell 31% and stock synchronisation errors went to zero. The operations team went from three people to one, and the company saved €8,700 a month.

Stock updates the second an order comes in and the customer gets notified. My team works on growth instead of updating spreadsheets. We haven't had to touch the system since it went live.
